Pros and cons of SnapRecipes app for iPhone and iPad

SnapRecipes app good for

It has been a long time coming, a really useful app that helps feed both the family and your conscience at once. SnapRecipes allows you to either photograph or write-up a favourite recipe, use iCloud (or your computer) to store it and then synchronise your collection between all your IOS5-compatible devices. Just in time for Christmas, it also makes a donation to an international charity organisation of 5 per cent of every sale, so its easy on your conscience, too. Recently launched, there are bound to be a few glitches, but so far I found none. It does what it says! So long as your photo of your recipe is good (and you can keep snapping until youre happy with it) all you need to do is file it under whatever category you choose in the tab bars.
Luv this App!! Exactly what I was looking for. Easy and simple to use. Thanx!!!
Now I can keep all my recipes handy along with the pictures. What a convenience this is. Great app!!!! Perhaps in the next version or update they will enable you to expand the text on the iPhone screen. One of my best apps....cant stop adding recipes...lol
So far, this app is great for keeping track of all of my torn out recipes ive collected through the years. Much easier and better!
This app does exactly what I hoped it would. Snap pics of recipes, tag categories and ingredients which makes finding recipes a breeze. Sharing recipes is also really simple. Love it!
This app has helped me get recipes I find anywhere!!! Super easy to use and helpful.

Some bad moments

This app was perfect for me until a month ago when all my recipes were lost! The recipes are still on my iPhone app but wont sync to my iPad now that the cloud sync has been turned on. Despite several emails to customer service, I have received no responses. Dont waste your time or money on this one!
I loose all my recipes for no reasons accumulates during a year. Very funny.
Just bought this app for new IPad.....thought it would be a better way to keep track of recipes and use in kitchen. Pros (so far): easy to take a photo of a recipe and tag in several categories for reference. Photos are easy to read. Easy to add tags (they dont have to match pre-loaded categories...I added other ingredients in the meat category). Cons (so far): why didnt they make this app to rotate with the screen position? It would be handier if I could prop it against my IPad cover. And after I entered the first few recipes, the app mixed up the titles and info, but that seems to have corrected itself. Not very good for entering a whole recipe---but, heck, just photo the original! For a buck 99, looks like a good value.
This is an app that is designed to take my disorganized stack of recipe cards, magazine tear outs, etc. and make them organized and searchable without having to type them all in. While theyre still working out some kinks (I have LOTS of recipes), its almost there. They are responsive to issues, and Im still entering ...
I love love loved this App . But I am now receiving advertisements on the bottom of the screen every time I view my recipes!!! I would be willing to spend extra money to purchase this App , if I could get rid of these annoying advertisements. My 5 star rating now gets a 2. Please Please remove or offer an upgrade!
This is pretty much what Ive been looking for and I would have rated it 5 stars if it were just a little bit easier accessing recipes from photos. I wish your icon were in my photo stream send section. All in all though this is great for the price.
